We tidy troughs.

Eavestroughs need to be cleaned to prevent water damage to your home. Eavestroughs divert water away from the foundation of your house, and if they are clogged with debris they won’t be able to effectively do their job. Eavestrough cleaning extends the lifespan of roof and gutters, it helps water drain efficiently during storms, and can prevent ice buildup in winter.

Your eavestroughs should be cleaned twice a year. Once in spring, after the snow thaws, and again in the fall before the snow comes. Fall is a tricky time because sometimes the snow comes before the leaves fall and can make it dangerous to be on a roof, so October and early November are good times to get it done.

We use ladders with stabilizers to reach the eavestroughs, we collect the debris from the troughs by hand. Where there are pine needles in the troughs we use a blower to ensure a thorough clean and make sure any mess is cleaned up afterwards.
